A beginner wrestling tournament open to first time wrestlers ages 3-14 (less than 6 tournaments under their belt), OR wrestlers who have wrestled in more than 6 tournaments but have a below .500 record.Saturday, January 17th@ Nebraska Wesleyan UniversityOver 3,600+ wrestlers have had their first match at My First Wrestling Tournament since 2012!

ANKLE BAND DIVISION3 - 4 Year olds
The Ankle band division is returning for the third year in a row. This division was has been a HUGE hit for the younger wrestlers, ages 3-4!Now the younger siblings can fall in love with wrestling too! No experience needed. All matches are paired up with another young wrestler the same age and weight.Format:- Two periods, running clock, 90 seconds per period.Starting Positions:
Period 1 - Neutral
Period 2 - Sitting down back to back- Wrestlers score points by grabbing the flag on an ankle band to pull the band off. Think flag football, but for wrestling.- First Wrestler to 10 points, or when time runs out.- All wrestlers earn a trophy!*Refs will raise both hands at the end of the match in this age division, to make both wrestlers feel like a winner for getting out on the mat!*Attire - General Athletic wear (shorts & t-shirt) or a wrestling singlet.
